EarthE .org is the place to find eco money, art, awards, kisses and words that can be used to honor others for helping protect our priceless planet. EarthE Credits are given by *participating businesses* that want to honor customers who have received signed EarthE Money for their environmental actions. EarthE Credits may include an E Di$count, E Handshake, E Kiss, E Words and/or other EarthE Arts. To receive an EarthE Credit at *participating businesses*, a customer must redeem a signed EarthE Money note they have received from a friend or a peer for an environmental choice or action they have taken. There is a one EarthE Credit limit per person per month at each business. The EarthE money should have the person's name, the eco action they have taken and the signature of the person who has awarded it, written on the front or back. Most of the businesses are giving a sales discount -- from 1% to 20% off -- as their credit. Other businesses are offering an EarthE Handshake, or the EarthE Kiss, in addition to a sales discount. Go to the EarthE Business Directory to find examples of EarthE Businesses that are giving these credits, and what kind of credits they are giving. Most businesses that give an EarthE Credit have the GET EARTHE credit signs posted at their business. To see these 4.25" x 5.5" signs go to the HTML 700K version (www.earthe.org/ CreditSign.htm) or the PDF 1500K www.earthe.org/ CreditSign.pdf. The signs describe how EarthE Credit works for both customers and employees. The EarthE organization's goal is that 95% of the retail businesses in the U.S. give EarthE Credits by 2012.
