Below are just a few of the opportunities available to eco citizens and students who want to join the EarthE.org and XOEarth.org Team. • Use EarthE and XO Earth tabling or canvassing to motivate others in your region and beyond. Awarding EarthEs and issuing XO Earth membership cards on the spot is a great way to get started. • Create graphics, film, ads and multi-media that could be used to promote EarthE and/or XO Earth. If approved, completed media will be released to media outlets -- such as magazines, YouTube, eco blogs, fairs and film fests. • Help student clubs in schools, campus environmental campaigns or national environmental organizations use EarthEs and XO Earth to reward participants and volunteers. • Scope out the EarthE and XOEarth websites and materials, tell us how you would tweak our marketing and management strategies, and (hopefully) help us roll-out your strategy if we like it. • Contact local or foreign press to get EarthE Money or the XO Earth Card printed in publications for people to cut-out and use to honor eco friends. Show non-paper publications how to use EarthE Money and XO Earth Card the images online, and in other media. • Design new EarthE Money to be added to the EarthE.org home page, or design custom EarthE Money for clubs, groups or businesses. Great opp for artists and graphicittes. • Set up the EarthE Credit$ and XO Earth Credit$ at local or foreign businesses. Participating businesses are giving EarthE Credit$/ discount$ to individuals who bring in EarthE Money that has been awarded to them for an eco action they have taken. Anyone can award EarthE money to another person. It takes about 30 minutes to initiate a local business. XO Earth Credit$ are new and are not at many locations. • Help establish a weekly or monthy EarthE Award or EarthE Challenge via local or non-local school paper, radio, tv, website or other publication. • Help manage a '104 day media blitz' that will call on all businesses in a neighborhood or town to offer an EarthE Credit/ Discount by a given date. • Create and/or release a written or multi-media EarthE or XO Earth piece -- such as a review, a video, marketing issue, press release, or a strategic blog entry. • Conduct a community or campus marketing analysis, and/or develop and deploy a marketing strategy. International and language majors are needed to further the overseas connections. • Programmers and webbies are needed to develop the websites. • Help developing an EarthE game that will reward real-life eco actions via the web and non-web -- will interface with Facebook and Myspace. • These opps can be found at earthe.org/Opps.htm. We can work with teachers so students can get credit in return for their help with EarthE or XO Earth projects - such as marketing, PR and programs. A letter and webpage of accomplishment will acknowledge substantial work. Custom EarthE or XOEarth projects can be designed for interests not mentioned above. Our society to often applauds those that hurt our environment, and overlooks those that choose to protect it. Join the EarthE and XO Earth Team to help reverse this ill-logical imbalance.
