However, your printer and browser combo may need to be set up to do it. In general, the top and bottom margins need to be set to zero. Internet Explorer does 10-up pretty well. Most people print the front of the card only. >> #8 The EarthE Honors card print-page #8 has 8 cards on each print page. Most people print the front of the card only. If you want to print a double sided card -- you will have to run the paper through your printer twice -- or use a printer that prints on both sides. >> #4 The EarthE Honors card print-page #4 has 4 cards on each print page. To make the cards, cut the printed page in quarters. Then fold each quarter in half to create four 2-sided cards. Pick out 1 of the cards for yourself and give rest to others. >>  green challenges. blue rewards. earthe.org Asking others to take specific eco-logical actions and rewarding their successes helps manifest a world that honors people that help the planet, and stops supporting those that hurt it. Explore EarthE.org to create or get art, music, words, Emoney and Eawards to thank your green friends. ___________________________ There are thousands of ultra fun ways to honor your friends and others for helping protect our exquisite biosphere. You decide whether it's a song you sing, a cool thing that you create, a witty thank you note, an EarthE award that you print out, a party, a picnic, a dance, something from a junk drawer or even an EarthE kiss. Share your ideas on EarthE Facebook and beyond. Printing only the front side of the card is fine. Most people find that the two-sided card is not necessary. Printing the EarthE Honors cards on heavier paper is a classy way to go -- but is not necessary. When EarthE Honors cards are printed they will be sharp and in focus -- even if they appear a little blurry in some browsers. To fit the most cards on a page, set the printing margins to the smallest values possible. Use "Page Setup" and/or "Print Preview" to adjust the margin values. In most cases, the EarthE Honors cards will be 3.5 inches wide when printed. This standard business card width fits in wallets. If the cards are not this size when you print them, open the "Print Preview' window and then adjust the scale/percentage to 100%. When adjusting margins, it is easiest to just enter "0" for the "top", "bottom" and "side" margins. The browser and printer will then re-apply the smallest default value available. Printing and giving out black and white versions of the EarthE Honors card is fine too! It's more about how they are offered, than whether they are in color or not. We still give out black and white EarthE Honors cards at schools and fairs --- they work great. Printing on colored paper is another option. If you want to print an EarthE Honors cards in a size that is not listed, contact us and we will create a page for you to print from. The wording and colors on each of the 4 cards varies a little. Show your EarthE Honors card to others to encourage others to join you in taking daily eco actions, and it helps empower a visible ecological society. If you prefer to write out the pledge/ card that's fine too. One way to show others that you give EarthE rewards is to put the "E" symbol on your things with pens or markers. Organizations can submit EarthE Awards/ Money design ideas that are relevant to their eco campaign or project. Environmentally conscious organizations and businesses who would like their name or message on EarthE Award/ Money must contact us for approval. > Artists, photographers, students and others are invited to suggest new EarthE Environmental Awards/ Money, graphics and media. Approved creations will be featured in this News column and newsletter. Send in your ideas. > We are going to start EarthE Honors guilds for artists/producers, musicians and writers. To help us get them going and design the guild cards, contact Stele. > The current Challenge suggestion is to invite and reward friends for taking the Sierra Club's 10 actions to Curb Global Warming. > EarthE Jam is the first Saturday of each month. Start an EarthE Jam in your area to celebrate, network, paint eco t-shirts and flags, have a Dance 4 the Species, do some letter writing and other fun things.  | ||||||||||
